I write this from the comfort of Kristi & Rodney's home this evening (April 7). It is good to see our kids again!! We started out in snow this morning and wondered what lay ahead, but about 20 miles north of North Platte, NE it was like a line was drawn - NO SNOW!! We had clear sailing thereafter with a light north wind and had a very pleasant drive the rest of the way. We arrived in Washburn (Kristi & Rodney's) about 7 CT. We'll head home to Hazen in the morning to get water turned back on and start the unloading process. (smile)
Hope you, Dave & Deb - Diane & Emile, made your destination safely. Thought about you knowing you were traveling also!! I love this blog........it's so nice to keep in touch! So glad you got where you're going with no trouble along the way! I don't envy you the unloading chores, but I know it'll be good to be home. It sure is a pretty day here in the EB!
