We hated to leave EB, especially since it looks like Winter STILL isn't through with Colorado. I emailed our daughter and some Denver friends and let them know that they need to get the weather up there squared away before we get there, but somehow those who have been living with the hail, thunder, lightening, tornado warnings, high winds, snow, and other assorted "excitement" weren't amused. Can't imagine why!
Anyway, though the winds were high coming up here it was basically an easy and short ride. We'll hang out here for a few days before going farther north.
Thanks to all you wonderful EB folks!

Hi Wyn & Ki, 4 days ago we were traveling up to Chinle and ran right into a bad dust storm, followed by thunder & lightning (on a scale of 1 to 10 I'd give it and 8), followed by HALE and then.....we woke up to 3" of SNOW!!! This all happened in less then 12 hours! We figure its going to be an interesting summer!!
If we don't see you "down the road" we'll see you in EB for the 2010 WINTER FOLLIES!!
Hi.......glad you made it safely - there seems to be nothing normal about this year's weather so be Safe and Smart!! Getting some rain in ND today (Sunday, Apr. 25) - not much in Hazen but Washburn and Bismarck were getting a fair amount. We could use more to settle the dust and pollens!! If temps drop much more we could wake up to snow - bite my tongue!! (smile) Anyway, Safe travels - good to know where you're at!! Linda/Newell
