The Point of No Return

The cold froze all the clouds out of the valley and we awoke to a beautiful day.  The San Luis Valley is long and wide.  We wandered Alamosa today looking for an electrical part.  (Gson Erick is going to rewire our 50 AMP plug in but we need one part.  Won't get it here so will wait until next week for the job completion.)  This afternoon we drove out to the Great Sand Dune where we found the Point of No Return so we turned around.  Pretty neat. 
As you drive up toward it the dune merges with the mountains to form an optical illusion.

They rent wheelchairs at the Visitor Center.  Pretty neat!
