We've been near Custer Battleground in Garryowen, MT for a week now, and we'll be leaving Friday for a park near Billings. This is my first time sticking a toe into Montana, and I've really been enjoying it. It's beautiful, and there's a lot of history within a few miles of here - we spent all afternoon today in Hardin at the museum there, being shown around by an 87 year old gentleman who's lived here all his life and has lots of wonderful tales to tell! We were lucky enough to be able to meet up with friends in Sheridan, WY and spend a couple of days with them, then they followed us up here for just a night before heading off to Alaska - this is their first trip as full-timers.
